3. Dandadan Season 2 

Dandadan season 1 left viewers on edge due to the cliffhanger ending, but the wait for next season isn’t going to be long. Dandadan is an exciting and unconventional anime. The story follows Momo Ayase, a high school girl who gets involved in a bizarre series of events after encountering a boy named Okarun, who is obsessed with supernatural phenomena.

Their journey is a chaotic mix of fierce battles, unexpected alliances, and mind-bending creatures, as the two navigate a reality where the boundaries between the ordinary and the supernatural blur.

4. The Apothecary Diaries Season 2

The Apothecary Diaries is a captivating historical mystery anime based on the light novel series by Natsu Hyuuga. Maomao, a highly intelligent young woman who excels in medicine. She gets kidnapped and sold to the emperor’s palace. However, her curious mind allows her to uncover the mysteries of the Imperial Court, where secrets are at every corner.

The chaotic duo of Maomao and Jinshi will be back with a story full of mystery, drama, humor, and clever plot twists.

5. My Happy Marriage Season 2

For fans of romance, drama, and fantasy, the continuation of this series is like a reward. Season 2 will continue with the emotional and heartwarming journey of Miyo Saimori, who finds love in her arranged marriage to Kiyoka Kudou. Burdened with their past trauma, the couple faces external challenges that test their bond and strengthen their relationship.

6. Kaiju No. 8 Season 2

Kaiju No. 8 is an anime adaptation based on the manga series by Naoya Matsumoto. After ingesting an unidentified parasite, Kafka Hibino gets the ability to transform into a Kaiju with an incredible power. 

This season will offer a compelling blend of intense action, emotional character development, and mystery. As the battle between men and monsters escalates, Kafka and his comrades work together to defeat formidable characters while his inner conflict regarding his humanity bothers him.

7. Windbreaker Season 2

Wind Breaker is an anime series based on the popular manga by Satoru Nii. In the first season, the main character, Haruna Sakura settles in a new town where he enrolls at Furin High, which is recognized as a school of delinquents who protect the town.

Being an outcast since an early age, Sakura had a hard time accepting their kindness and appreciation, but he soon joined the group to protect the town. The season ended on a cliffhanger where a new delinquent gang “KEEL” is introduced.The next season will be airing in April 2025.

8. SK 8 infinity extra part

After waiting for 4 years, Sk8 fans can finally meet their favorite characters again. The anime series follows the story of Reki, a high school student who loves skateboarding. He meets Langa and they both forge a bond while learning skating. Together, they get involved in the underground world of street skating, where they race against dangerous and skilled players.

The story highlights themes related to friendship, passion, and personal growth.

9. The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity

This anime is one of the most anticipated romance anime scheduled to air this year. The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity is an adaptation of a manga written by Saka Mikami.

Rintaro Tsumugi and Kaoruko Waguri are two high school students from two different schools with contrasting reputations. Rintaro is a student of the notorious, rowdy Chidori Public High School while Kaoruko goes to the prestigious Kikyo Private Academy Girls’ High School. Both schools are at odds with each other due to their different lifestyles, but as fate would have it, Kaoruko visits Rintaro family’s bakery frequently.

It’s a heartfelt story about the innocence of first love. The efforts done by both the characters to stay in each other’s lives will make the viewers constantly root for their happiness and success.

10. Honey Lemon Soda

Honey Lemon Soda follows Uka Ishimori as she strives to reinvent herself at Hachimitsu High School after being bullied in middle school. She finds inspiration in Kai Miura, a captivating boy with lemon-colored hair who sits next to her in class. He supports Uka’s efforts to fit in with her new classmates and decides to help her realise her dreams.

This shojo romance series dives into themes of personal growth and self-discovery as Uka’s life begins to transform.
